The mural painting has been restored by the conservation department of the Estepona City Council's Heritage delegation, following a pioneering intervention in the locality to date "that has yielded the best results," as highlighted by the councilor attached to the Historical Heritage delegation, José María Guerrero. Likewise, the councilor has stated that given the success of the application of this treatment, the City Council will continue to use it to recover other unique cultural elements that the city possesses corresponding to 18th-century baroque decorations.
