The work "A flower of the future" is a creation of the artist J.F. Rivers. It is located in the Los Remedios neighborhood and it is a realistic painting where the sea is very present and where it is intended to reflect the aesthetic renewal that Estepona is experiencing. In addition, a few meters from this mural, the artist has also made a sculpture created with metallic materials that represents the same flower that appears in the painting, with the idea of creating the effect of a mirror. The work is included in the Route of Artistic Murals that the City Council launched in 2012 to make the city more attractive to visitors and tourists, embellishing the city's neighborhoods with spectacular murals in the medians and facades of numerous buildings.
